Call For Entries - #DDPrideMonth LIMITLESS Art Show
On Display at North Water Brewing Company- 101 Crain Ave, Kent, OH 44240 3/29/22 – 4/29/22
“March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, a time to raise awareness about the inclusion of people with developmental disabilities in all areas of community life, as well as awareness to the barriers that people with disabilities still sometimes face in connecting to the communities in which they live.” -Ohio DD Council
In honor of DD Awareness Month, the Portage County Board of DD is seeking works of art, created by those with Developmental Disabilities, to be displayed on exhibition at North Water Brewing Company.
LIMITLESS aims to showcase the many talents of our Portage County community.
Requirements:
Works being considered for public display at North Water Brewing must be two-dimensional. Work selected for exhibition must be delivered ready for hanging. Weight limit of 10lbs. Other mediums will be reviewed and considered for an online gallery display to be held in tandem with the physical exhibition.
Submit 1-3 jpegs for review to Tim Torch: timt@portagedd.org
Jpegs should be saved “first name, last name (1,2,3)”
In your email, please include the title of work, size, medium (paint, drawing, ink, etc.), price (or NFS if not for sale).
Submissions Due Date:
Images must be emailed to Tim by the end of business (5 pm) on 3/11/22
Artists will be notified of the judges' decision by 3/18/22
Selected works must be delivered to Happy Day between the hours of 8-4 on 3/21/22, 3/22/22 or 3/23/22
Delivered work should be labeled with the same info as above (attach a paper to the back)
