DSP Award Recipient - Erica Fogle

The Portage County Board of Developmental Disabilities is proud to recognize Erica Fogle as the Portage DD Direct Support Professional (DSP) Award Recipient. Erica works for Buckeye Residential Solutions and was nominated by SSA, Robinette McCormick.

Here is what Robinette had to say about Erica:

During a time of illness and the eventual loss of a person-served, Erica was a consistent and ongoing support for him, his family, and our team. She acted with compassion and kindness, was thorough and prompt with distributing helpful information, and went above and beyond to show the person-served and his family how unique, special, and cared for that they truly are. Thank you, Erica, for taking the extra time to build trust and provide that support during their time of need and helping our team to support the individual and family the best that we could during this difficult time. Coming from our hearts and speaking for our team, you are truly appreciated.

This award is an opportunity to nominate someone who has gone above and beyond to improve the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities while also promoting independence and inclusion.

Individual award recipients will receive public recognition from Portage DD and be promoted on our social media channels. Award recipients will also later be considered for Direct Support Professional of the Year.

All nominations will be kept on file for review and consideration for a period of 12 months after initial submission.
