DSP Award Recipient - Skylar Moore
The Portage County Board of Developmental Disabilities is proud to recognize Skylar Moore as a Portage DD Direct Support Professional (DSP) Award Recipient. Skylar works for Home to You and was nominated by Jason. Here is what Jason had to say about Skylar:
Skylar is one of the nicest people I met at Home to You. When she took us to Haven of Rest to volunteer, she helped show us how to do a good job cleaning the facility and help those less fortunate. She helped me make and buy Christmas presents to show the people in my life appreciation. Skylar introduced me to Sady and Tucker her German Shepards they are as nice as she is. She helps others first before herself she’s always thinking of others and how to make their lives better.
My life is better with Skylar in it. Even though I am no longer working with you. Your impact in my life is powerful.
Congratulations Skylar on being DSP of the month. May you continue to make a positive difference for those you help serve. The Direct Support Professional (DSP) of the Month Award is for those staff who provide direct support or direct services for individuals served throughout Portage County.
This award is an opportunity to nominate someone who has gone above and beyond to improve the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities while also promoting independence and inclusion.
Individual award recipients will receive public recognition from Portage DD and be promoted on our social media channels. Award recipients will also later be considered for Direct Support Professional of the Year.
All nominations will be kept on file for review and consideration for a period of 12 months after initial submission.
