DSP Award Recipient - Stacie Graves

The Portage County Board of Developmental Disabilities is proud to recognize Stacie Graves as a Portage DD Direct Support Professional (DSP) Award Recipient. Stacie is an Independent Provider and was nominated by SSA Ashley Beam.

Here is what Ashley and Sharon had to say about Stacie: 

Stacie goes above and beyond for Sharon Aquino every day. She is always willing to assist the other providers and keeps a positive attitude. Sharon said " Stacie is always caring for me even when she isn't with me."  Ashley also added that Stacie and another provider, Amber Whiteford work well together as a team to take care of Sharon. 

 The Portage County Board of Developmental Disabilities is proud to recognize Amber Whiteford as the Portage DD Direct Support Professional (DSP) Award Recipient for the month of September.   Amber is an Independent Provider and was nominated by SSA Ashley Beam.

Here is what Ashley and Sharon had to say about Amber:

 Amber is always willing to help and do extra when needed. Sharon Aquino said " Amber just gets me. She gets my personality and is a great advocate for me."  Ashley also added that Amber and another provider, Stacie Graves work well together as a team to take care of Sharon. 

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) of the Month Award is for those staff who provide direct support or direct services for individuals served throughout Portage County.

This award is an opportunity to nominate someone who has gone above and beyond to improve the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities while also promoting independence and inclusion.

Individual award recipients will receive public recognition from Portage DD and be promoted on our social media channels. Award recipients will also later be considered for Direct Support Professional of the Year.

All nominations will be kept on file for review and consideration for a period of 12 months after initial submission.
