Provider Spotlight: Midwest Community - Kent

We are excited to welcome The Midwest Family of Companies and their Midwest Community - Kent center to Portage County. Midwest’s facility in Kent officially opened their doors on Monday, January 4, 2021.

Jon Hudak, CEO of Midwest Family of Companies, passed along the following message:

Midwest Community Services is incredibly excited to be joining the strong ranks of provider agencies within Portage county. Midwest Community will be providing Adult Day, Vocational Habilitation and Non-Medical Transportation services out of our new building at 1010 West Main Street in Kent.

Midwest’s sister company, Community Health Network (CHN), will provide the nursing and therapy support that may be needed or required. It will also ensure that all staff involved with this program receive proper training and oversight. Our commitment to this is evident due to the personalized approach we take to hiring, training, and placing new staff. We know how important it is that those we serve have someone that is going to advocate for them, and no corners are cut when looking for potential caregivers. Through this we make sure our focus is evident, which is to enable the pursuit of hopes and dreams for those we serve through total community inclusion.
