Nick Panzero may well be Portage county's newest employee. He started working at Trelleborg on Monday May 16th. He is a B operator at their manufacturing facility in Aurora, Ohio, Trelleborg manufactures high-performance sealing profiles, such as building facade seals, automotive cable protectors and fuel tank straps, road and bridge expansion joint seals, as well as other critical sealing components.
Nick, who was participated in vocational training services at Midwest, said his mom and SSA first told him about the job and since it was close to home, he decided to check it out.
How did your interview go? “The interview went really well! They showed me the whole area and liked it right away. I felt like I was going to be following my grandfather’s footsteps since he worked in a machine shop.”
Nick spent time last week meeting his new co workers and has already promised to bring them homemade Christmas cookies when the time comes.
Nick said getting this job makes him feel : Special! I like that I can go and work on one thing and do it well. I'm really excited to have some good supervisors and I know that Janessa is there as my job coach if I need help.
