February: Assisting with the Development of Support Networks

In this class, participants will examine what support networks are and discuss how they can be used to promote independence and inclusion.  The members of this class will discuss tools to help engage the supported persons with his or her community, including Social Role Valorization and Asset Based Community Development.  Class participants will identify challenges and opportunities for fostering independence and community inclusion.
