Employee Spotlight - Meet Kaitlyn

Kaitlyn had previous positions at Portage DD and the Family Child Learning Center before starting as a Developmental Specialist in 2024. At the Family Child Learning Center, she was responsible for planning classroom interventions, coaching family visits, and promoting cohesion between classroom settings and homes. Kaitlyn is enthusiastic about providing a fresh perspective, especially now as a parent, which allows for more relatable and practical strategies. With ample experience in social interactions, she is eager to apply her new skills. Her enthusiasm for engaging with the community and her ability to connect with people of all ages helps her build strong, supportive relationships with the families and children she assists. One of the most distinctive aspects of this role is the opportunity to engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds, which Kaitlyn finds particularly rewarding. She looks forward to fostering collaborations in this ever-evolving field. With a passion for learning and a background in theater, she finds her improvisational skills beneficial.
