Provider Spotlight - Teammates Center

Portage DD would like to recognize and thank the Tom, Abby and Jensen, staff from Teammates Center in Ravenna for the services they provide to persons from Portage County.   Lunch was delivered to the hard-working staff as a small token of appreciation.    Teammates Center, which began operating in October of 2018, has four sites in Summit County in addition to the newly opened site in Ravenna.  Teammates Center currently provides Adult Day Support-community integration, Vocational Habilitation, Individual Employment and Non-Medical Transportation services.  They plan to add Group Employment services in the near future.   Their mission is “To provide opportunities for clients with disabilities to work, socialize, and learn to be teammates with society by being active and productive participants. Teammates Center will employ trained and compassionate associates who will help build and maintain relationships with the community business and officials to facilitate learning experiences for our clients”.
