Portage County Voters Pass Issue 29

Portage DD is happy to share that Portage County passed Issue 29 with an over 68% passage rate. This renewal of Portage DD’s operating levy ensures we can continue to support over 1,100 adults and children with developmental disabilities in Portage County.

Issue 29 represents more than 40% of Portage DD’s operating dollars. Passing this levy ensures Portage DD has the funding needed to continue to provide essential and critical services such as early intervention, transition support, employment, and many more. Additionally, this levy allows us to sustain, improve, and add other necessary services for the DD Community in Portage County.

As an agency, we understand the trust Portage County has placed on us to be responsible stewards of these funds.
